OLG and SG Extend Agreement on Instant-Win Games

Recent reports out of Canada have detailed an exclusive licensing extension between the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation and international provider of gaming solutions Scientific Games. The OLG will continue to provide instant games from the renowned gambling company to its customers as per the terms of the renewed agreement. OLG will continue to distribute SG’s instant-win lottery games across its gaming platforms until at least July 31, 2022 per the terms of the renewed deal. Instant lottery tickets in Canada have traditionally been marketed under the names of well-known games like Words With Friends and Scrabble, which has resulted in higher sales.

Remarks from the Vice Presidents

In a statement regarding the extension of the deal, OLG Vice President of Lottery Marketing and Planning Randy Weyersberg praised Scientific Games as a reliable partner. The vice president claims that the OLG is eagerly anticipating the arrival of new and fascinating instant lottery games that will captivate players and bring in even more money for the Canadian province. Scientific Games’ top executive, John Schulz, weighed in on the latest events with his thoughts on the matter as Senior Vice President of Instant Products. He expressed delight at the prospect of continuing to supply cutting-edge quick win games to OLG’s many iGaming channels.

Schultz proceeded by saying that for many years, Scientific Games and its forerunners have offered OLG and the province of Ontario with safe and responsible casino games. It’s a win-win situation for both parties because his company can keep doing this work for at least another four years.
